Parents Group

At Acorns, we are very fortunate to have a supportive and friendly parent body. Our parents recognise that educating children is a process that involves a partnership between parents, class teachers and the local school community. As a partnership, our parents/carers will understand the importance of a good working relationship to equip children with the necessary skills for lifelong learning. For these reasons, we continue to welcome and encourage parents/carers to participate fully in the life of our school and as we are now able to hold events without restrictions, we welcome our families to join us at our parents’ group.

Come and meet other parents and share your experiences.

Our parents' group is a safe space for you to ask questions, talk about how you are doing, and share experiences with others in the same or similar circumstances to you.

You will also be given access to information on PECs, the use of sign language, dealing with challenging behaviours, bedtime routines, social stories and how to access support from social services etc.
